We are excited to welcome you to attend an event with Vice President Kamala Harris on October 28, 2024 in Ann Arbor! Here’s everything you need to know:
This invitation is non-transferable and is intended for the recipient of the invitation only. Due to security requirements, only confirmed RSVPs will be granted access to the event and a matching government-issued photo ID will be verified against the RSVP list by name to enter.
Event timing: Doors open at 4:00PM. Please arrive no later than 7:00 PM– we may not be able to accommodate entry after this time.
Location: The event will be held at Burns Park (1300 Baldwin Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104)
Check-In: Upon arrival to the event site, make your way to the check-in table labeled with GENERAL ADMISSION Signage. Please be ready to show ID that matches our RSVP list and these arrival instructions (printed or on your phone).
Parking: Parking is available off site in a few different locations, please see the map attached below. Parking lot #1 is located at UM Lot SC-17 (Wolverine Tower) at 3003 State Street and Parking lot #2 is located at UM Lot SC-34 (State Street Commuter) at 2500 State Street. Parking lot #1 and #2 WILL HAVE shuttles moving to and from Burns Park starting at 1:30 PM and moving through 9:00 PM. There is extra PAID parking available at the Forest Avenue Parking Structure (650 S Forest Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104) for $1.20 /hour. There will be NO SHUTTLES moving from the Forest Ave Parking Structure. Rideshare and carpooling is highly recommended as parking is on a first come first serve basis.
Lyft Credits: Attendees traveling using Lyft can use code HARRIS24 for $15 off their trips to and from the rally.
Attire: Suggested attire is casual and campaign gear is always encouraged! It will be cold and you may be standing for long periods of time. Please dress accordingly.

Security: All guests will pass through an airport-like screening checkpoint operated by the United States Secret Service before entering the event site. While small bags are allowed, entry may be expedited for those without bags.The following items are prohibited and will be confiscated before entry:
- No liquids of any quantity, aerosols, or gels. Medical items are exempt.
- No reusable water bottles (full or empty). Feel free to bring disposable bottles of water, gatorade, or similar that can be discarded prior to entry.
- No bags larger than a clutch – please leave all big bags at home or in your vehicle. Diaper bags are exempt.
- No outside posters or signs, of any size.
- No umbrellas, of any size.
- No vape pens or lighters.
- No knives, firearms, weapons, or otherwise dangerous objects.
- No lawn chairs, non-service animals, bicycles, balloons, drones, laser pointers, packages, selfie sticks, structures, toy guns, or recreational mobility devices.
- Any other item deemed hazardous by the United States Secret Service.
